When You Arrive

Please come inside and up the stairs. You will find a cozy waiting area around the corner and at the end of the hallway. If you arrive for your appointment and the door is locked, your therapist will get you as soon as they are available.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that by booking on our website, you agree to our 24-hour cancellation policy, and your credit card on file will be charged the full amount for the missed appointment. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that another patient could have filled. As such, we require 24 hours notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice for ANY reason will be charged the full cost of the treatment. Good news - we will waive the cancellation fee if the spot gets filled! You’re entitled to the remainder of your appointment if you’re late, but the full cost will be billed. If you have booked your appointment within 24 hours, it is considered confirmed, and our cancellation policy applies if you would like to cancel or reschedule. Please email info@rmtstudio.com with any questions.

Direct Billing

We offer direct billing for most major insurance companies. When you fill out your health intake form, the information we need to submit claims on your behalf will be collected there. If your insurance company is not on the drop-down list, we don’t direct bill to them. Please do not select an alternate insurance company. Please note we don’t direct bill to Sunlife, Greenshield and Blue Cross. While we do our best to offer this service to all who qualify, we cannot guarantee that direct billing will be available or your claim will be accepted. Clients are ultimately responsible for all treatment and cancellation fees they incur.

Gift Cards

E-cards are available right on your account page. (Please note that prices listed don’t include HST)

Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin single use disposable needles at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain. It has become Increasingly more popular to be used for overall wellness including stress management.

By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance.

I have always found the human body and soul combination to be fascinating which lead me to understand it from the eastern to western point or view.

During my own personal journey of healing and achieving a balanced lifestyle, I discovered a variety of self help tools that helped me and in turn can assist you with your spiritual and physical journey and help you achieve balance in your lifestyle where in today’s society can be difficult to do it on your own. As a Massage Therapist, I have learned to utilize my hands to help locate the imbalance and ultimately make my clients feel better. During my practice as a Massage Therapist, I decided to expand my learning in the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

In 2011, I travelled from Tunisia to Toronto to attend the Shiatsu School of Canada where I completed my certification for TCM Acupuncture. The philosophy of TCM have become a staple in my personal life, I became more aware of how the body functions, the source of health issues, how emotions. eating habits, environment and activities we do can have an impact on our health and bodies.

Today, I am able to do what I love – help people suffering from chronic pain and guide them towards solutions and overall improved wellbeing. By understanding the root cause of the imbalance and using a variety of modalities such as, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, Acupressure, Cupping, Acupuncture, Gua-Sha (Graston), Auricular acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina, I help my clients cope with their daily activities with ease.
